Cali #8, 2022

This contemporary fine art photograph by Jacob Gils depicts a solitary, broad-canopied oak tree rendered through layered motion and intentional blur, transforming the familiar form of a California oak into a serene, painterly meditation on balance, endurance, and the passage of time, where nature dissolves into soft color fields and atmospheric light.
