Walking

Walking

I did not say anything to time.I watched its waves progressing and vanishingover the sand.I called them a bodyAnd I saw it changing and growing old like me,As light playsAs it rides the waves of the momentI know the taste of loneliness in things.I know a few streets,Where the oaks slumber on the shoulders of cloudsAnd the eagles’ wings weave the sky.
