Juvenile king penguins—named “Oakum Boys” by sailors for the colour of oakum used to caulk timbers on sailing ships—gather in Saint Andrews Bay, South Georgia. The adult king penguin searches for its chick in the crowd, carrying a belly full of krill to feed their young.
