HUMANITY CHALLENGE
INFERNO

The word humanity stems from the Latin humanitas: “human nature, kindness”

  1. human race; human beings collectively
  2. compassionate, sympathetic, or generous behavior or disposition:
the quality or state of being humane
  3. the totality of human beings: Humankind
  4. humaneness; benevolence

With this in mind, we will be resurrecting our exhibition called HUMANITY.  But this year, we will focus on how the artists, the recorders of history, will step up to the challenge and present their perspective on global affairs and what humanity means to them.

INFERNO:  How do we put out the fire?

Featuring artists from every corner of the globe: Palestinians, Israelis, Greeks, Turks, Armenians, Ukrainians, Russians, Germans, French, Italians, Danish, Mexicans, British, Irish, Scottish, North Americans, South Americans, Africans, Asians, Indigenous people, blacks, whites, and every religion and belief system other than your own.

Our mission is to reveal the interconnection between ALL people, regardless of their alleged differences. We believe that human beings have so much more in common than we are led to believe. And as for the differences, that is the beauty and tapestry of life.

We are all creators of our own story. Journey with us as we unfold the human story. The question is, what story do YOU want to hear? Or what story do YOU want to tell?

We will present a survey of our times – because, as we know, without art, we would know nothing of our history. Each human being has a story to tell. We invite you to listen to the stories from the depths of the conscious and unconscious mind, as we traverse a world that has reignited Dante’s Inferno. Maybe together we can climb out of the ninth circle of hell.  Dante did, maybe we can, too.

Peace…
