Blake’s Spirit Collection embodies the power of our spirit as human beings, displaying our innermost structure in its full glory. Our individuality and our self-worth…the why to “Am I enough?” whomever we might be. This matters; we matter!
The original bronze was built by the collaborative force of nature of Blake Ward and Boky Hackel-Ward. From that piece Blake conceived Devorah, a child of the 21st century. Aided and abetted by Z-brush (the computer program used to make the film Avatar), Blake accentuates our faiblesses, underlining the splendour of our imperfections and of our distinctive individual signatures by adding further openings to the existing lace-like surface of the sculpture and building an incredibly intimate and complex inner structure.

His courageous Phoenician Goddess pushes through our zeitgeist to commemorate our humanity and our beauty.

While our world is changing, in this 3D printed bronze sculpture our weaknesses are unveiled rather than concealed allowing us to protect our future from our past.

Angel of Freedom

Nisroc is the Angel of Freedom. The inspiration for the Angels originally came to me in a framework of ideas that appeared to be engineered: sometimes symmetrical in form like the spans of a steel bridge.
However, as I worked with these elements an organic facet arose and the beams began to twist and turn like the concepts of our spiritual selves.

Angel of Balance & Harmony

The Angel Anthriel will assist us in remaining clam and leading our lives with moderation. She will provide balance and is known to reduce anxiety.

Angel of fertility, love, war, and sex

Considered as one of the more powerful sky deities, Ishtar was the divine personification of the planet Venus. A heavenly being, to both the Assyrians and Babylonians, she was the goddess of fertility, love, war, and sex.

Angel of Emotional Awareness

Over time, the Spirits became less concerned with the portrayal of the figure than with the idea of the figure as it disintegrated and much of the surface area was broken away.

On their deteriorating exterior surfaces the pieces shows evidence of our material reality. They began to take on a layered appearance that represent the masks and walls that our different personalities hide behind.

The Angel of Success

Perpetiel is the encourager of aspirations and dreams.

He is also the bringer of success in any true venture on your spiritual path. Nothing stands in his way when you are open to him and he can enter your life suddenly without fanfare or warning.

Angel of Endurance

Holds domain over deep waters and mountain ranges. Brings strength and endurance. Holds knowledge and understanding of sacred places for meditation and ceremony. Considered very glorious, awesome and mighty.

Egyptian Goddess of the future, prosperity and abundance

Her name seems to have the meaning of nurturing or raising a child, and she was both a goddess associated with motherhood and the tutelary deity of the Pharaoh. Her gaze was said to have the power to vanquish all enemies and also to ensure the fertility of the crops and the bounty of the harvest. She was associated with the magical properties believed to inhere in the linen bandages that wrapped the dead and was known at Edfu as the ‘mistress of the robes.’

In the Greco-Roman period she was worshipped as the goddess Hermouthis, in which form she came to be combined with Isis.
