2014 – British Columbia, Canada
Just as I was about to call it a day and head back to camp, disappointed once again in my mission to photograph one of British Columbia’s elusive sea wolves, a lone wolf emerged from her hiding place and looked directly into my camera. I watched her with my breath caught in my throat, utterly captivated by the uncanny intelligence behind her eyes; a wisdom that suggested she had seen more of Canada’s wilds I could ever imagine.
