Who The Hell Can See Forever

A sentence made of bronze with gold leaf, where the “O” in the word Forever is Boky’s platinum-leafed face. The words hang independently of each other, thus can be arranged on a wall in varying ways.

Inspired by a song by Iron & Wine entitled The Trapeze Swinger…..because sometimes we simply can’t see clearly what lies ahead, and in spite of all our efforts, the visions of our dreams are marred and disfigured by the oppressors and by our own fragility, which is, paradoxically our greatest strength. This piece, like most of her work, exposes Boky’s vulnerability, surrendering to uncertainty, she lets us in. This work is about HOPE.
