Arctic Fire
Norway, 2018Throughout the winter months in Norway, the sun only rises above the horizon for about 20 minutes a day. It barely has time to illuminate the sky before it retreats again for the long night. During those brief moments the light is magical, not only for its beauty, but also for the innately human desire to see the sunrise after a long, cold night. The fleeting sunlight, the mist, the mountainous fjords all combine to make something unlike anything else in this world.
