The bond between Petaka and her kittens runs deep on the pampas, or grasslands, of Patagonia. Pitted against the rugged terrain, the potential threat of larger pumas, and the frigid winters, navigating life in the southern Andes demands courage, cunning, and incredible endurance. It is up to mothers like Petaka to pass on their knowledge and essential survival skills so their cubs can thrive in the shadow of the granite peaks.
