Hungry bears become curious bears, a habit that often gets them in trouble. While I was waiting out a blizzard, I looked up and found this bear peeking through the window of my tiny cabin. I opened the window to remind her that her nutrition must come from the sea. Face to face, she found my camera and smile of gratitude looking back at her.
