Iceberg Alley, Antarctica, 2007

There is something majestic about a black and white photograph, especially of a solitary iceberg. It allows the viewer to get lost in shapes, patterns, and textures without overwhelming their senses. Scale and perspective are also vital storytelling components, helping to create an idea of place and space. Every iceberg has a story, and my job is to inspire intrigue rather than reveal the answers.
