I made a promise to myself that if this image of a little lion cub staring fearlessly into my lens turned out, I would title it Super Cub, the name of the aircraft I dream of flying. It's a small, rugged, short-field plane that can land in just 100 feet and reach the wildest parts of Africa, where on-site conservation work is driving real change. To me, it represents freedom, possibility, and the chance to help protect places like this. Even in a large, healthy pride, a cub’s survival is never certain. The best thing we can do for cubs like this little one is safeguard the ecosystems his family depends on.
